My work with NABORSocial was a long relationship with a lot of freedom for experimentation. I started my role at the company looking for applications that would solve typical daily problems of the owners and as a graphic designer. However, after starting my studies on UX, I decided to take on the challenge of developing a website for the company using WordPress.

At first I simply went with good usability practices, Gestalt principles and other concepts in the area. Then the website was published and with the influx of visitors I was able to extract more information through heatmap tools and screen recordings by Smartlook. This way, I was able to obtain insights to make changes and improvements that converged with the observations made about users.

In addition to the tasks I cited, I also authored the posts that were released on the company’s blog. Most of those involved a joint effort between the owners and myself (those have the name of the company as the post author), but there was also freedom for me to bring up new topics that I deemed relevant.

I loved writing these blog posts and I hope Google Translate gets the job done if you decide to check them out (I always made sure to keep my grammar in check, so I think the translation may be alright for the most part). You can check them out (in Portuguese) through the link below:
